The Center for General Education at Asia University aims at cultivation of students with global views and cares for humanities. By providing basic and general-education courses, the center tries to help students establish healthy philosophy of life, and to fulfill the ideal of educating "people with completeness in characters." The courses offered include the categories of Chinese, English, law, music, art, and applied science. The center keeps pursuing excellency and creativity in general education by establishing various task forces for teaching improvement and evaluation of appropriateness of contents of offered courses.
