| The Office of Research and Development deals with issues concerning promotion of academic R & D programs, and includes two divisions: Academic Development Division and International Cooperation Division. The affairs handled by the office include: (1) integrating internal research resources and promoting key researches; (2) coordinating interdisciplinary research projects and international cooperation matters; (3) providing consultations and assistances for research staffs on the matters of technology transfers and intellectual rights applications; (4) handling the establishment, adjustment, and augmentation of research units, etc. |
