General education center continues to provide courses that advance over time and a wide range of diverse general education lectures
With an environment of humanity and art, influenced by intangible environmental education
Asia University hopes to cultivate the students as intellectuals with a deep commitment to learning as well as ethics and compassion

The Faculty

General education courses are offered school-wide. Beside the part-time teachers in the general education center, the courses are lectured jointly by full-time teachers in each major. There are 11 full-time teachers mainly appointed by the center, among whom are 5 professors, 3 associate professors and 3 assistant professors.

General Education Activities

To cultivate the students to become holistic individuals, we fulfill the values of the school’s founding: health, care, innovation and excellence. By organizing diverse and rich general education activities, we equip the students with professional abilities, humanistic literacy, compassion and innovative thinking.

General Education Courses

We make learning happen from classroom to real life, valuing compassion in ourselves to others, acquiring knowledge from being professional to being a holistic individual, hoping to guide society toward humanistic values, and to an ideal, harmonious and mutually caring world.

Basic Ability

To reach the educational goal and enhance the student’s learning effectiveness, we ensure the students will have acquired the three basic abilities upon graduation: Chinese, English and information processing.
