The goal of gender equity is to build an environment in which both genders can learn and grow without discrimination, without the constraints of traditional gender roles and thereby enjoy their basic human rights as individuals. It allows everyone to realize their potential, to achieve full personal development, and to build harmonious and respectful relationships between the sexes.
