Asia University held its 23rd anniversary celebration themed "Asia University: 23 Years of Sustainable Glory" on the 13th. President Jeffrey J.P. Tsai expressed gratitude as they celebrated the university's anniversary, emphasizing Asia University's dedication to becoming a high-quality, enriched, diverse, and international institution, aiming to cultivate students' lifelong capabilities. Principal Hsiang-Yun Chen of National Changhua Girls' Senior High School stated her eagerness and initiative in recommending outstanding high school students to Asia University, acknowledging the evident progress and development of Asia University. Principal Yen-Huang Wang of National Changhua Senior High School expressed that Asia University holds the top place in his heart.

President Tsai mentioned that when Asia University was founded 23 years ago by Chang-Hai Tsai and Tseng-Lien Lin, the primary goal was to provide a high-quality, enriched, diverse, and international university. He emphasized continuous innovation at every stage, enabling students to develop their potential through various opportunities in such an environment. In a quality learning environment, students can discover problems, collect data, and solve problems, cultivating lifelong skills.

President Tsai also expressed gratitude for last year's registration rate at Asia University exceeding 95%, thanking the high schools for their long-term cooperation in sending their students to Asia University. He assured that Asia University would not disappoint the schools or parents and would continue to accompany the students' growth in all aspects, including soft skills, hard skills, employment, and future planning. Asia University will soon hold the " Asian Generative AI Creativity Competition," offering high prizes, including a grand prize of 100,000 NTD, welcoming high school and vocational school students and young people to participate and showcase their creativity.

President Tsai mentioned being deeply touched by interviews with two prominent figures recently. One is the founder of TSMC, Morris Chang, who stated that the two most important things in life are "humility" and "global perspective." The other is Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, who, after immigrating to the United States as a child and experiencing bullying at a counseling school, learned to focus on positive forces in such an environment, emphasizing the importance of "humility" and "diligence." Both stressed the importance of "humility" in learning more things.

Principal Hsiang-Yun Chen expressed her attendance at Asia University's anniversary every year, witnessing the university's continuous progress and development, just like President Tsai's name, "progress and development." She shared encountering a graduate alumna whose daughter interned in New York after attending Asia University, and upon returning, the daughter showed significant growth, demonstrating Asia University's dedication.

Principal Yen-Huang Wang of National Changhua Senior High School pointed out that as Asia University celebrates its 23rd birthday, many students in their generation hope to have Michael Jordan's No. 23 jersey, which holds special significance, representing mature stages after considerable effort. He emphasized that what makes a school admirable is not how magnificent its construction is but whether it can uphold its original intention in education. He said, "Asia University is the top choice in my heart!"

Outside the venue, Continuing the festive atmosphere of previous years' school celebrations, Asia University hosted the "Asia University Water Balloon Survival Battle," replacing traditional BB gun shooting games with water balloons to reduce injury risks and enhance entertainment. Even students with leg injuries participated from wheelchairs, engaging in battles with their peers. In the international food street, Asia University's international students showcased their culinary skills with signature dishes such as Indonesian turmeric beef rice, Vietnamese French bread, as well as locally sourced coffee and desserts, attracting a large number of teachers and students to participate.
